STRESS AND YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM – You may recognize its symptoms; headaches, jitteriness, not sleeping well and forgetfulness among other signs, but did you know that stress really plays havoc with your immune system. Your immune system is your first and best defense against unwelcome viruses (can you say Covid) and bacteria types that bring you harm. 

One of the best things you can do to keep stress in check is to exercise, which can be as simple as taking a walk. As a Harvard Health Letter points out, “Walking can strengthen bones, tune up the cardiovascular system, and clear a cluttered mind.” Basically, there’s nothing better than exercising to release tension. 

Three easy ones are Walking, Yoga and Tai Chi. Not only are they healthy for your body but they also allow your mind to distress. There are a number of other avenues available but, start with these and see what happens.
